Images of America: Lake Minnetonka
Excelsior-Lake Minnetonka, Wayzata and Westonka historical societies
2015
A pictorial history assembled by three of the lake's historical societies and published by Arcadia. Its approximately 200 black-and-white images provide a view of earlier buildings, boats and lake communities.
Older photographs often answer a question that words alone cannot: what a landing, hotel or stretch of shore actually looked like. This volume is an accessible introduction to that visual record.
