Minnetonka Story
Blanche Nichols Wilson
1950
An early book-length account of Lake Minnetonka, published by Colwell Press and later reprinted. Its place in the lake's literature is important: it helped gather local stories into a single volume before many of the histories familiar today appeared.
Best read as part of the lake's early historical writing, alongside later research. Its stories and broader historical interpretations do not always carry the same evidentiary weight.
