Upper Minnetonka Yacht Club is based on Enchanted Island in Shorewood, at 4580 Enchanted Point. Its setting on the Upper Lake gives sailors a home base on the western side of Lake Minnetonka.

Racing, learning and shared boats

The club combines sailboat racing with opportunities to learn and sail socially. Its racing waters include the Upper Lake's East Bay, West Bay and Smithtown Bay.

Two related programs make the club accessible in different ways. Upper Minnetonka Sailing School provides adult lessons and certification. Westonka Sailing provides shared-boat access for continued sailing, skill development and racing.
